Friendship Teapots Celebrations

Friendship Teapots Celebration is a year-long sharing of tea and friendship while participating in the "passing of the Friendship Teapots."
Beginning in January 2009, twelve women will receive a 6-cup Friendship Teapot and journal. During the month, each of these twelve women will have tea, using the Friendship Teapots, with friends, neighbors, or co-workers. No need to have a big tea party, tea with other(s) is all that is needed but I won't discourage anyone from having an afternoon tea.
The twelve women will fill out the enclosed journal, and return it along with the pictures in the postage-paid envelope. Then they must pass the six-cup Friendship Teapots onto another person before the end of January.
The women who receive the Friendship Teapots for February will have tea, take pictures, write in the journal and then send the journal and pictures back to me. Before the end of February, they will pass the Friendship Teapots along to another tea friend. And thus the twelve Friendship Teapots will travel from person to person throughout the year. The women who receive the Friendship Teapots in December will get to keep them after a fun month of tea with friends and family.
Each person who has possession of one of the twelve Friendship Teapots and returns the journal and pictures to me, will receive a FREE 2-cup Friendship Teapot.
So, why am I doing this? Because I love friends and tea. I also am curious where the twelve Friendship Teapots will travel and end up December 2009.

I know many of you must be wondering when I will be posting all the pictures and journal entries (just first name and state) from the first six months of the Friendship Teapots Celebration 2009. I have been working on putting each person under the person before who had the teapot. I also had to close down my tea room and move just the products to another location where tea is selling really, really well!
But everything takes time and energy so please be patient with me just a bit longer. Scanning plus editing all the pictures into my computer is taking a little longer than I had thought it would but the end result will be so good!
I want to thank each of you that has taken the time to have tea parties, taken pictures and written in the journals, and then passed the teapot onto someone else!
